The notebook is approximately 2.5" x 3" by 1/2"

The covers are made of sturdy cardboard covered in paper and (sealed with a decoupage medium, so it's easy to keep clean.  It is water-resistant but not waterproof.  The decorations (rhinestones, etc.) are attached with acrylic glue--sturdy, but not indestructable, so treat it with care.

Between the covers are approximately 50 loose-leaf pages of white, lined, heavy-duty paper (made from index cards, actually) drilled with two holes.  It's easy to refill--just open the binder rings and slip fresh sheets in wherever they're needed.  (Refill paper is available from the website.)

The notebook comes with three 1" tabs and some labels to fill the tabs, such as "Groceries" "To Do" "Errands," etc.  Just cut out the ones you want and insert them into the tabs, or make up your own labels!  If you don't want tabs, they're easily removable.

The pen (included) is a mini roller-ball pen with black ink.  The current batch is Staples-brand, but I may use other brands that will be similar but not identical.  The pen clips onto a silver-tone ring that attaches to one of the binder rings.  You can wear it dangling in front like a charm, or tuck it behind the notebook where it's not as visible.  You can attach just about any sort of pen if you have one you prefer or you need to replace it. 

The beaded lanyard is approximately 32" long (a 16" necklace) with a clasp.  It can be worn with or without the notebook, even looped around twice as a choker.  I use all kinds of beads--glass, metal, a few plastic, and even semi-precious stones on occasion.  Each necklace is unique and created just for your Memo-Pause^TM.
